Hello and thank you for visiting my shop! Emily Tibor is my collection of hand crafted unique designs using bold color and clean lines, drawing inspiration from mid century modern style and vintage textures and patterns.
As an artist and painter what inspires me most is working with color. I find the way colors can play against each other to evoke mood and emotion fascinating, and I never get tired of gazing at new combinations.

I'm a visual artist. I studied art in Philadelphia and got my degree in fine art photography. Pursuing a more technical career led me to Los Angeles where I have spent nearly two decades in the Film and Television Industry. I never lost sight of my fine art roots and was always finding ways to bring more direct creative pursuits into my daily life. Being creative in my job is something I have always longed for.
I realized that working in textile arts to create unique handbags was the perfect way to blend my artist's sensibilities with my lifelong love of fashion and design. I am constantly finding fun new materials to experiment with and be inspired by. I love to find new and exciting fabrics, leathers, and hardware elements to use, and I try to use locally sourced and american made materials whenever possible.

I strive to bring to life styles that are original and fun and also have a feeling of vintage sophistication. I hope they compliment your own unique style, whether it's retro or modern.
